WE ACTUALLY CARE
It was at nearly 16 stone/220lbs that I decided I had to change my life. I hit rock bottom.
I decided I could no longer spend my life feeling uncomfortable every day in my clothes
Dreading social events where I would have to dress up
Thinking I would 'do this' or 'wear that' one day, when I finally lost the weight
Always putting myself down and calling myself a failure because I couldn't stick to a plan long enough to make lasting changes
Needing help to do tasks because I wasn't strong enough
So I began to teach myself about nutrition and about the gym. I started slow; watching countless YouTube videos, buying gym magazines, joining a weightlifting gym so I could be around other 'lifters' and bit by bit, step by step the weight came off.
60lbs later I became a coach. I wanted to help other women who felt like me. Most importantly I wanted to save them the mistakes and wasted time that I went through and be the support they could rely on during their journey.
I am always learning new skills within the fitness and mindset arena, to not only keep challenging myself, but also to bring that knowledge to my clients. I currently do kickboxing & archery alongside my weight training.
